Green Car, Virtus Traffic Management Solutions Acquires Larger Premises - SantanderCB

Virtus Traffic Management Solutions has purchased new premises in Coalville following £150,500 in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial. The traffic management consultancy has been trading since 2011 and was established to provide specialist engineering services and professional support to the traffic management, highways and construction industry. It provides Highways England, local authorities and private companies with temporary traffic engineering, planning, management and auditing solutions, and support was provided to TfL with implementing the Olympic lanes prior to London 2012. Virtus has expanded by five employees a year since 2011 and had outgrown its rented premises in Ibstock, Leicestershire. The funding provided by Santander Corporate & Commercial enabled the business to purchase its own freehold premises in Coalville and since moving in, Virtus has employed another three people. Paul Spreadbury, Director, Virtus Traffic Management Solutions, said: 'Since we began trading in 2011, Santander has provided financial support, enabling us to manage our growth.' Andrew Bullock, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial said: 'Since we began working with Paul and his team the business has gone from strength to strength. Virtus has worked with some impressive authorities and companies and we are confident that the new premises will enable them to continue this strong level of growth.'
