Turner to be named chairman of Vital Ingredient

Chairman - Santander is going to invest £12m in the business - SantanderCB

Graham Turner will today be named chairman of Vital Ingredient, alongside the announcement that LDC and Santander will invest £12m in the business.

The new funds will be used to expand the chain from 17 outlets to at least 35 over the next three years which will involve a push beyond the business's London heartland.

Turner is also chairman of Liberation Group, the Channel Islands brewer and pub operator that is now up for sale, as well as Mexican restaurant chain Barburrito.
