Tech sector storms ahead

Britain's booming technology sector is growing at its fastest pace since the financial crash, according to new figures from KPMG. The sector is also expanding more rapidly than any other industry in the UK. KPMG will say today that a combination of fast-growing start-up companies and the rising demand for technology in traditionally non-technical areas of business has led to a renaissance among companies in Britain. Its Tech Index, where any number above 50 is an indication of growth, recorded a score of 59.2 between July and September.
