Santander welcomes Portuguese inward Trade Mission

Meeting - Portuguese businesses visit Santander's London office - SantanderCB

Nine Portuguese small and medium-sized business owners visited Santander’s London office last week to get advice and make connections with UK companies. The Portuguese businesses, mainly in the construction and food and drink sectors, were in the UK for an inward Trade Mission. Delegates found out about key opportunities the UK market can offer, and afterwards they had the chance to network and establish contacts with local businesses in the UK. Alicia Ferrero, International Desk at Santander UK, said, “It was a pleasure to receive the Portuguese delegates and to be able to connect them to local businesses here in the UK. The Santander Group is able to leverage its international strength to run these Trade Missions and through collaboration with Santander Portugal, we were able to ensure a successful mission for the delegates."
