Santander Corporate & Commercial has boosted its Education, Healthcare and Renewables (“EHR”) sector team covering Wales and the Midlands with two new senior hires. The move comes at a time of strong demand from EHR businesses in the region for dedicated banking services and sector specialists.
Andy Jones joins as a Relationship Director with a responsibility to manage existing customer portfolios and develop new business within the regional EHR sector. He has nearly 40 years’ experience, having previously worked for Barclays where he achieved four consecutive annual top 100 UK Relationship Director awards. At Santander, Andy will work with David Griffiths, the existing Relationship Director in the EHR space.
Michelle Walbyoff joins as a Relationship Manager for the EHR team to support the marketing of Santander Corporate & Commercial’s products to EHR firms. With 30 years’ experience, she will play a central role in managing relationships with existing customers and in developing new ones. Prior to joining Santander, Michelle worked at Lloyds Banking Group as an Associate Relationship Manager, focused on the Public Sector.
Both Andy and Michelle will be based in Santander Corporate & Commercial’s Cardiff Corporate Banking Centre.
