Studies - Sharing and rental economy is the top business growth area - SantanderCB

A study by the Centre for Economic and Business Research and O2 has found that the sharing and rental economy is the top business growth area. The sector includes rental and leasing firms and has been boosted by a spate of start-ups similar to US car sharing and property rental companies. The report also found that call centres, book publishing and beer production were in the top ten growth industries. By contrast, it found that video production, postal services and some types of manufacturing were in decline.
