Recovery of UK economy slowest ever, say unions

Analysis by the TUC union has claimed that in terms of GDP per person, the UK's current economic recovery is slower than any previous bounce-back following a recession since as far back as 1830. The TUC has demanded a new plan to boost productivity and growth, whilst weaning the economy away from an overreliance on the services sector.
