Recovery not well balanced

Shipping

Business recovery specialists R3 said that, while businesses are showing more signs of growth, the UK's economic recovery remains uneven. The R3 survey found that 65% of businesses recorded one or more signs of growth last month – be it rising sales, increasing profits, higher market share, expansion or investment in new equipment. The figure was slightly down on the previous R3 survey in June but up on the figures recorded 18 months ago. Only 35% of firms are showing one or more major signs of distress.
