Record year of growth for steel firm
Monmouthshire-based Pro Steel Engineering reported a 'record year of growth' after investing in a dedicated fabrication facility.
The company, which is headquartered in Caldicot, secured £360,000 of investment from Santander Corporate and Commercial for a new facility equipped with technology to bring the steel fabrication process fully in-house.
Pro Steel has introduced new services, including the installation of metal decking. It has also appointed a new operations director, and plans to take on another 20 full-time members of staff over the next year.
Pro Steel reported an increase in turnover in its 2015 financial year, from £3.6m to £ 15.5m. The company's clients include Costain and Balfour Beatty.
