Record year of growth for steel firm
In a year in which it received £360,000 of investment from Santander Corporate and Commercial, Monmouthshire-based Pro Steel Engineering has reported record growth, with turnover increasing from 33.6m to £15.5m.
The money from Santander was used to purchase a new facility equipped with technology to bring the steel fabrication process fully in-house.
New services have also been introduced, meaning there are plans to add 20 full-time members of staff over the next year.
Contracts have been won on major projects including the Olympic Park, Hammersmith Flyover and Crossrail.
