Rapid growth as firm sells unique software

Computer - Hoowla software company - SantanderCB

Hoowla, a software company based in Swansea, has developed an online case management tool for conveyancing.

Already used by hundreds of law firms and estate agents across Britain, its founder and managing director has his sights fixed on rapid growth in the coming years.

Adam Curtis started the business with just £500 and believes entrepreneurs do not need huge sums of money to start an ambitious and fast-growing business.

'Whereas a decade ago it could cost a fortune to launch a software company, now it is a lot cheaper and people shouldn't be scared of stepping out on their own,' he said.

As part of the Fast Track 25, an invitation-only business club backed by Santander, Curtis gets to attend exclusive events and network with like-minded individuals also running fast-growing companies in the area.
