Machinery

A Huddersfield-based manufacturer of high-grade machine parts and components has acquired a new building to house a hi-tech metal spray line and now plans to take on more staff. B&B Precision Engineering has purchased an 8,000sq ft building adjacent to its current site in the town, and hopes to hire up to seven additional workers. The acquisition was made possible thanks to £795,000 in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial. The building itself cost £375,000 and the rest of the money will go towards kitting it out with equipment. Luke Rowbotham, Relationship Director at Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: 'B&B Precision is a great local success story and we are delighted to provide funding as they look to broaden and expand.'
