PPS Equipment Services expands presence into the North West with working capital from Santander

Digital equipment - £500,000 working capital package - SantanderCB

Santander Corporate & Commercial has provided a £500,000 working capital package to Midlands-headquartered PPS Equipment Services Ltd, helping the company boost its presence into the North West through the acquisition of Lancashire's Alison Handling Services. PPS is a leader in the returnable transit packaging industry and will benefit from AHS's position as the UK's largest independent stockist of returnable plastic packaging. Alongside Santander's backing, PPS will use £4.9m it has received from the Business Growth Fund to expand the range of services available to customers of both PPS and AHS. Debbie Partridge, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: 'We are delighted to provide funding to support the expansion of PPS at this key time for the company. The management team have identified a strong opportunity for growth and we have been able to provide the funding and support to help PPS capitalise. It's clear that the company is primed for further growth and we wish them every success.'
