North Lindsey College transforms facilities with multi-million pound funding deal

North Lindsey College plans to modernise its estate and provide state-of-the-art facilities for students after receiving £9m from the Skills Funding Agency and agreeing the availability of £5.2m in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial. North Lindsey College is the largest provider of post-16 education and training in North Lincolnshire and has more than 6,000 students. The funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial and the Skills Funding Agency has allowed North Lindsey College to start a long-term modernisation project. The first phase is due for completion in summer 2015 and will include providing hi-tech workshops, digital technologies and other working spaces. Gareth Jones, relationship director at Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: 'We have been impressed with the commitment of the College and are confident this investment will enable them to increase the quality of their offering to students.'
