North leisure company acquires fifth property

North East leisure business The Inn Collection Group has added its first property in County Durham to its growing portfolio of inns. The firm has acquired The Seaton Lane Inn near Sunderland following backing from Kings Park Capital. The buyout, completed with banking support from Santander Corporate, brings the number of inns the group operates to five. ICG chief executive Keith Liddell said: 'The acquisition of The Seaton Lane Inn is the latest step in our buy-and-develop expansion plan [?] We will continue to look for suitable properties to add to our portfolio as The Inn Collection Group increases its share of the North East hospitality and leisure market.'
