Rudding Park Hotel, Spa and Golf Club in Harrogate will soon begin work on a £9.5m extension aimed at recapturing the town's spa town's heritage following a new funding package from Santander Corporate and Commercial. Owners of the Grade-I Regency house and surrounding parkland will build a new roof top garden with outdoor treatment areas, hot tubs and a hydrotherapy pool, as well as a new beauty area, shop, heat cabin, 11 treatment rooms and a new restaurant. Alastair Morris, Relationship Director at Santander Corporate and Commercial, said: 'Rudding Park has an enviable reputation and is recognised far beyond Yorkshire for excellent service and understated luxury. The new development has been sympathetically designed and we have no doubt it will be a huge success.'
