Minister urges tech sector to target health and education

Tablet, Technology Compaines to Target Education and Healthcare Sectors.

The Government has called on technology companies to target the education and healthcare sectors to help grow the digital economy outside London. Digital economy minister Ed Vaizey wants the next generation of tech entrepreneurs to focus on industries that are largely state-backed and that wherever the Government is involved as a buyer of services it should make the most of new technology. Vaizey applauded the establishment of tech strongholds outside London.
