Manufacturing reports strong productivity

Manufacturer, 64% of UK's manufacturers see growth - SantanderCB

A survey from the EEF trade body shows that 64% of UK's manufacturers have seen growth in productivity over the past two years, outperforming the rest of the economy. The EEF sees this as evidence that the government should be doing more to rebalance the economy towards production, and has urged ministers to set out policies and an industrial strategy to support businesses.
