Lift firm going up in the world after deal

Lift equipment supplier Morris Vermaport Ltd expects its turnover to grow after a management buyout. The Chilwell company has had the buyout with funding support from Santander Corporate and Commercial. Jason Swingewood, managing director of Morris Vermaport, said: 'We've benefited from first-class support from Santander Corporate and Commercial and the team here is very excited for the future of the business.' The funding was provided through Santander's growth capital fund under its Breakthrough product and service suite. Jon Bennett, area director for Derby at Santander Corporate and Commercial, said: 'We're delighted to be able to support the management team as they start the next phase of growth at Morris Vermaport.'
