India and UK bodies in trade boost agreement

The UK India Business Council and the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) have signed an agreement to strengthen trade and investment ties between the UK and India. ASSOCHAM has released a report predicting that the value of Indian exports will grow $64bn annually. It forecast that India will overtake China next year to become the fastest-growing economy in the world.
