I want Britain to be the place to go for business, urges Osborne

George Osborne has said he wants the UK to become the 'go to' western economy for business and investment. The Chancellor told British business leaders at the World Economic Forum that he is confident of the UK's continued growth – confidence which should allow the economy to become the place to do business. He said there are three ways in which he hopes this will develop: by being the best western economy for investment, to build a business, and to headquarter a business. Osborne also said he would like a reformed European Union in which the UK will remain. He added that it was up to individual businesses to decide their position should there be a referendum, but that they should be vocal whichever position they selected.
