Holiday park extends with farm acquisition
A holiday park in North Yorkshire is set to welcome more guests after acquiring an adjacent farm. Swaleview Park, near Richmond, purchased the 26 acres of land in order to allow for growth and further development.
The family-run business, which also sells holiday homes and lodges, has been around for over 70 years. Owners Andy and Eileen Carter sought help from Darlington-based accountancy and business advisory firm Clive Owen.
The £550,000 farm purchase was supported by finance provided by Robbie Peacock, relationship director at Santander Corporate & Commercial Banking.
Andy Carter said:
"We have many ideas about how we want to take our business forward and this deal has now given us the scope to look more closely at our options."
Robbie Peacock at Santander Corporate & Commercial said:
"We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to further support this successful, local business."
