Growth for Notemachine amid takeover talk

FInancial results - Notemachine reports growth after latest financial results - SantanderCB

Notemachine, a cash machine operator based in Crickhowell, has reported growth in its latest financial results as it continues to invest in the rollout of its cash machines as well as securing agreements with big banks. Turnover rose to £85.7m in the 12 months to 30 June 2015, up from £68.4m a year earlier. Ebitda earnings grew to £16.7m from 13.5m. The business also posted a pre-tax profit of £6.1m, compared with a pre-tax loss of £2.8m the year before when it was affected by a £4m one-off charge. Founder Peter McNamara said: 'We have grown our business during the year and predict and similar level of growth going forward We are continuing to work with major financial institutions, including Santander, HSBC, Yorkshire Bank, Virgin and the forthcoming Williams and Glyn, in addition to our own-branded ATMs.' Notemachine acquired forex supplier Eurochange towards the end of 2014 and this has also provided a boost to the company. McNamara said that since the deal completed, the acquired business has grown by about 25% and opened its first branches in Wales and Scotland.
