Funding boost for Leeds property business

Avtar Properties, a Leeds-focused property business, has secured a multi-million pound funding deal from Santander Corporate Banking. The Santander funding will support the consolidation and growth of the family-owned business. Avtar provides student, professional and shared lets residential accommodation and also owns a number of commercial buildings in the centre of Leeds and the surrounding areas. The company also carries out mainstream property development work. Avtar owner Singh Thethi said the new facility from Santander would enhance its ability to acquire more commercial and larger properties in the near future.
