A focus on international growth

Four million pounds in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial will allow electro-chemical manufacturer Electrolube to invest for growth in the UK and abroad and purchase the freehold of its UK headquarters in Ashby de la Zouch. Electrolube, part of the HK Wentworth Group, has seen strong demand for its products in both the UK and abroad, with global sales forecast to grow by 18% over the current year. Santander has provided support for international payments and foreign exchange to help the firm maximise international trading opportunities. Paul Elliott, relationship director Santander Corporate & Commercial, said 'HK Wentworth is an excellent example of a strong British manufacturing business with its eyes firmly fixed on the global marketplace.
