Final Santander breakfast of the year to get festive

Business leaders are being urged to attend Santander's last Breakthrough Business Breakfast of the year on December 4 to hear from the people behind Edinburgh's Christmas and New Year celebrations. Those who register for the free event will hear from some of the key people involved in delivering the festivities which prompt thousands of visitors to come to Edinburgh during the winter season. Speakers include Charlie Wood of Underbelly, which organises the Christmas festivities taking place across the city; Al Thompson of Unique Events, which is responsible for the Hogmanay events programme, and Roddy Smith of Essential Edinburgh, the city centre's Business Improvement District responsible for St Andrew Square, an iconic space transformed at Christmas to become home to bars, festive stalls and the Spiegeltent. The event is the last in a series of Breakthrough Business Breakfasts for 2015 held at Santander's Edinburgh office on St Andrew Square, where previous speakers have included Josh Littlejohn of Social Bite; Adam Knight of Edinburgh's Playhouse Theatre; David Sole, former Scotland and British Lion rugby player, executive coach, business writer and director of BizPrompt, and Belinda Roberts, entrepreneur, business writer and founder of WeDOScotland.
