To cater for strong growth and capture more market opportunities, the funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial will allow Express Vehicle Services to expand its operational reach out of Cardiff and into Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan. The move is forecast to result in a further 10-15 staff being brought on board.
Established in 2011 with just one mechanic, the firm has steadily grown over the past four years and now employs 15 staff, providing a comprehensive and professional range of vehicle services for customers in the Cardiff area. The firm registered £520,000 in turnover for 2015, which is forecast to grow to £1 million by the end of 2016.
Kevin Whitcombe, Director, Express Vehicle Services, said: “The new property is a great opportunity which could lead to us doubling our workforce and output. The team at Santander has been extremely supportive throughout the process and we are confident that this move will be a great next step for us, providing further room for growth.”
Paul Williams, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “We are really pleased to provide funding to support Kevin and the team at Express Vehicle Services. The firm operates a ‘customer comes first’ culture and we are glad we can support such a high quality company with strong growth potential that can provide job opportunities to the Barry community.”
