Worcester-based estate and lettings agency HomeXperts has expanded its network of franchisees, hired more staff and upgraded its marketing and sales capabilities following a £250,000 funding deal. Established in 2010 by founder and managing director Susanne Chambers, HomeXperts offers potential franchisees the opportunity to open an estate and letting agency working from home, backed by an established franchise network. The business currently has 27 franchisees across the country, and this year is expected to expand into Scotland and Wales. The firm, which has been supported in its growth by Santander Corporate & Commercial, is seeking to recruit an additional 16 franchisees over the next year. To date, the Santander funding has enabled HomeXperts to take on an additional seven staff, while the business plan for this year has a further two new positions. The firm has also invested in new sales and marketing Customer Relationship Management technology which will enable its franchisees to open their branches quicker. John Hyde, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: 'We are delighted to be able to support such an innovative and exciting business, one that is showing a tangible level of success. Indeed, the firm has been able to grow significantly to qualify for our Growth Capital fund under Breakthrough, a product aimed at the UK's most ambitious businesses.'
