Edgmond Foods expands into larger premises to cater for increased demand

Shropshire based Edgmond Foods, a leading specialist in the manufacture of chilled and frozen products, has received new funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial which has been used to purchase additional plant and equipment, and provide further working capital. The company will also use the financial assistance to relocate the administrative offices into new office space at its manufacturing site. The family run business employs over 100 people and produces chilled and frozen quiches, tarts and frittatas for retail and food service markets nationwide. Peter Burton, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “Edgmond Foods is known for its exceptional quality and is a well-managed business with a track record of strong, stable profitability and excellent cash generation.
