Data to show UK jobless rate fell to 10-year low

Job Seeker, Data to Show UK Jobless Rate Fell to 10-year Low - SantanderCB

Official figures this week will show that UK unemployment fell to 5% in the final quarter of 2015, from 5.3% in the previous quarter. The Bank of England considers 5% to be the 'natural rate' of unemployment, where inflationary pressures are expected to build as employers find it harder to hire workers. Economists estimate that the number of people in work rose by 225,000 to 31.5m in the quarter, but they also believe pay growth was weaker.
