BW Legal to add more staff as business expands

BW Legal Expand, Set to add More Staff - SantanderCB

Leeds-based BW Legal said it plans to grow its team by 50 people after experiencing a stream of new business. Co-founder and chief operating officer Rachel Withers said: 'We have lots of new business coming in and plans for more, so we're looking to increase the size of our team over the next six months.' BHP Corporate Finance advised BW Legal on their recent development capital fundraising and worked closely with Santander to put the funding in place which will allow them to pursue their growth plans. The development capital fundraising was used for refinancing with the existing lender and working capital to support recruitment of staff, along with further business development and investment in the existing IT platform. BHP partner Hamish Morrison said: 'BW Legal is an excellent firm which really excels in its area of expertise.'
