Article - Nation statistics publishes its fourth report on national wellbeing - SantanderCB

The Office for National Statistics has published its fourth report on national wellbeing, showing that recovery from the recession has left Britons healthier, better off, less likely to be victims of crime and living greener lives. Life expectancy and living standards rose while unemployment fell during 2012 and 2014. The ONS said there had been improvement in 17 of its measures, deterioration in eight and no change in 11. Areas of life to have improved included personal finances and the economy, with real median household income and net national disposable income rising and joblessness falling.
