Architects move into a famous forebear's gem

Houses - Newcastle architects are relocating to new premises - SantanderCB

Newcastle architects Mosedale Gillatt are relocating to new premises at the East Lodge in Jesmond Old Cemetery, a Grade II-listed building which is considered one of famed architect John Dobson's finest works. The move represents an expansion for Mosedale Gillatt, which now plans to make several new additions to its team. Director Tim Mosedale explained: '[The building] offers a lot more space in which we can work, which will in turn allow us to expand our team. We have a number of significant projects coming up in the months ahead, which, combined with our move to the East Lodge, means this is a very exciting time for the business.' Mosedale Gillatt was supported in the move by Santander and by the specialist real estate team at Newcastle law firm Sintons.
