Family business Compton Cymru Cyfyngedig, which supplies garden machinery and mobility and disability equipment throughout Wales from its Aberaeron base, has secured a £500,000 funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial which has allowed it to open a new, state-of-the-art showroom and training facility for its Cantre Mobility division, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The new site marks the next phase of expansion for Cantre Mobility, which already boasts a client list including Ceredigion County Council, Carmarthenshire County Council, Pembrokeshire County Council, Family Housing Association (Wales) Ltd, Gwalia Housing, Coastal Housing, and Powys Local Health Board. Kevin Nicholas, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: 'The company aspires to be the first choice for anyone in Wales requiring mobility equipment and associated services, and is targeting more service contracts with local health boards, local authorities, housing associations, care homes and private customers. We are delighted to be supporting such a successful, expanding local business.'
