£750k package for specialist ingredients firm

Deal Secured, £750k funding package for MSK Ingredients - SantanderCB

Chesterfield specialist food ingredients and equipment supplier MSK Ingredients has secured a £750,000 funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial that will allow the company to extend its product lines and boost its workforce by 25%, adding five new members of staff. Founded in 1999, MSK has been built up to become a major supplier to the dining, hotel and catering markets. The company is also looking at expansion abroad and will invest in business process re-engineering. The funding suite provided by Santander includes a £200,000 growth capital loan, which is aimed as fast growing UK businesses. Donna Butler, relationship director at Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: 'MSK is rightly considered the market leader in supply of ambient specialist food ingredients and equipment to the hotel and restaurant trade in the UK and, increasingly, beyond. 'The team at MSK have a track record in continually bringing in new and innovative products and ingredients to market, and has a strong pipeline of exciting new products and initiatives. Santander is delighted to be able to support the firm at this key time.'
