A Shropshire business which makes television stands and support systems will expand its product range following a £2m funding deal with Santander Corporate & Commercial.

AVF Group was founded in 1978 and supplies products to retailers in the UK, Europe and North America such as Tesco, Costco, John Lewis and Walmart.

The cash from Santander will be used for product development and will also support its manufacturing facilities in Asia.

David Gallimore, chief executive of AVF Group, said: 'I am delighted with the pro-active and relationship-focused service provided by Santander since inception. I feel they really are the right bank to take us from strength to strength through this renewed strategic partnership. The funding will allow us to increase our mark as a global leading brand and support our future growth.'
