£25m school project nears completion

Yarm School in the Tees Valley is set to finish work on a multi-million pound building project which was backed by Santander Corporate & Commercial. The project, which began in 2009, will conclude this August with the completion of a new boathouse and music school. For the past six years, the school has undergone a £25m redevelopment programme designed to create world-class educational, sporting and arts facilities for its growing number of students. Yarm School headmaster David Dunn said the support from Santander Corporate & Commercial has been 'instrumental' throughout the project. Ian Massey, relationship director at Santander Corporate & Commercial, praised the school for becoming a 'huge success story both locally and nationally'.
