Floors 4 You Ltd acquires headquarters with funding from Santander
Midlands-based Floors 4 You, the UK’s largest independent flooring specialist, has purchased the freehold of its Halesowen premises and is set to open a further 10 new sites across the UK following £800,000 funding from Santander Business Banking.
Established in 2011, Floors 4 You has quickly grown into a leading national supplier of laminated, wood, carpet and vinyl flooring specialist. The firm was started by Abdul Shakir and Yasir Mahkmoud, who have both worked in the flooring industry for the past 15 years, and remain the two shareholders of the company. The firm currently employs over 100 full time staff, and has 25 sites across the country.
The funding from Santander Business Banking included a commercial mortgage, which enabled Floors 4 You to purchase the freehold on its site in Halesowen. The finance package will aid the opening of a further 10 new sites, located in Preston, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Oldham, Halifax, Cambridge, Basildon and two sites in Cardiff. The opening of the new stores will create a minimum of three new jobs at each site.
