Microsoft Masterclass: Succeeding in a World of Digital Disruption
Date of event: Tuesday 20 June, 2017
Application closing date: Monday 12 June, 2017
Digital transformation is creating unprecedented opportunities for growth and innovation. For decades, larger companies have held a competitive advantage in terms of scope, delivery and the ability to respond quickly to changing market conditions. Now, the tables are turning and organisations that have dominated their industries for decades risk being displaced virtually overnight by data-powered business models. We have teamed up with Microsoft to deliver an interactive and insightful day at their Reading Campus helping you to learn how to use technology to your advantage.
A Microsoft survey at the end of last year found that disruption is real with nearly half of all business leaders (44%) think their existing business models will cease to exist within the next five years, and happening quickly with 51% believing that their industry will be disrupted within the next two year. It really is a case of disrupt or be disrupted.
The pervasive access to new digital services is changing every aspect of business – shaping growth, disrupting industry landscapes, and providing the catalyst for new business models, products, services and experiences. At this event you will hear from a range of expert speakers including Microsoft’s Chief Envisaging Officer, Dave Coplin, to help to de-mystify the world of cloud computing and artificial intelligence, provide practical advice on how to take advance of advances in data analytics and process automation to enable you to digitally transform your business and be that disruptor. Of course, there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion throughout the day.
In addition there will also be the opportunity to discover Microsoft HoloLens; the first self-contained, holographic computer, enabling you to engage with your digital content and interact with holograms in the world around you.
We are looking for highly ambitious businesses who have been trading for a minimum of two years and have plans to increase customer base, employ more people and expand to new markets in the next 12 months.
There are 20 places available to ambitious SMEs and there is one places available to each SME. If you meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in registering for your place on this Microsoft Masterclass, please contact your local Relationship Director for more information or apply online.
