Standing orders and Direct Debits

Set up a standing order to send a regular sum of money from one account to another. Use Direct Debits to allow other companies to collect money from your account regularly.

The Direct Debit guarantee also means that if any money is wrongly taken from your account under a Direct Debit, we will refund the amount to your account as soon as you tell us about it. Again, you always need to have enough cleared funds in your account at the start of a banking day or a pre-agreed overdraft limit to support all your standing orders and Direct Debits.

To set up a standing order simply complete the standing order mandate, sent to you in this welcome pack and return it to the address shown. If you wish to set up a Direct Debit then please contact the Santander Corporate Office on 0151 298 6520 who will be happy to assist you. You can also set up a Direct Debit yourself using Santander’s Online Corporate Banking service.

You can cancel a standing order and Direct Debits on your account at any time yourself by using the Santander Online Corporate Banking service.
