Snag Group

Founded in 2017, Snag Group is an e-commerce business selling recyclable hosiery and ‘chub-rub’ shorts specifically designed and sized to fit all body shapes and sizes. Four years on, Snag Group exports to c. 90 countries with more planned in the future.

After meeting at an awards event, Snag Group knew Santander were the right bank to help them with their international growth plans.

We are a growing e-commerce business, and Santander have worked hard to understand our needs, enabling them to support us to achieve our ambitions. We are excited to work with them to achieve more rapid growth.

They moved their day-to-day banking facilities and secured funding support to help them move to a new warehouse facility, which doubled the size of their premises. This came at a crucial time for the business as they looked to increase their capacity to store, process and package their extensive product range of leggings, t-shirts, skirts and swimwear.

The funding provided by Santander has also helped them increase their employees by 50% to 90, with plans to recruit a further 60 new colleagues over the next year, as the company continues to grow. All of this support makes for an exciting time ahead for Snag Group as it focuses on growing sales in the US.

We’re delighted to have become Snag Group’s bank and look forward to supporting its journey of international expansion and growth. Santander is pleased to support businesses like this that champion inclusiveness and produce products that minimise environmental impact.
