Funds boost Doctor Memory to support growth

Xum Enterprise

Established in 2012, Xum Enterprise trading as Doctor Memory, was set up by Dr Ali Bahraminasab to recycle, refurbish and manufacture memory RAM and circuit boards. They follow a unique upcycling process to make new products from reusable chipsets. These are sourced via recycling centres from old TVs, microwaves, computers and various other electrical items.

As a result of the pandemic, Xum Enterprise saw a significant increase in demand for their products. Through an introduction to the Santander Trade Portal, the business was able to source new suppliers in overseas markets, which has allowed them to focus on the growth opportunities presented.

I cannot tell you how happy I am we’ve got this funding, the two new products we have launched are key to our future growth.

We’ve also been really impressed with Santander’s Trade Portal which we are now using to source new suppliers.

Without Santander’s support we would not have been able to continue to grow the business.

Additionally, the increase in demand meant that there was a requirement for financial support - Santander were able to assist with a CBILS facility, enabling the business to increase stock levels and recruit more staff.

From the first meeting with Ali, I was impressed with both his knowledge and enthusiasm for the products they manufacture.

I identified the Trade Portal as something that could really benefit the business and this was something Ali could instantly see.

We’ve built a great relationship and I look forward to seeing how we can continue to support the aspirations of the business as it goes from strength to strength.
