We’re at an exciting stage, expanding our customer base both in the UK and worldwide. Santander recognised our passion, vision and the strength of our business mission. The move has provided us with financial support that enables us to accelerate our growth, particularly in international markets, where they have strong expertise. With their backing, we can focus on what we do best.

Christopher Dawson

CEO, Clearspring Limited

The combination of an increase in people cooking at home during the pandemic and a growing demand from consumers for sustainable and healthy food, has proved a recipe for success.

Its turnover increased by 25% year-on-year in 2020, with monthly sales via the website quadrupling.

The funding from Santander will support Clearspring’s high growth strategy, enabling it to expand in new and existing international markets.

We’re delighted to have become Clearspring’s bank of choice, supporting the next phase of its growth strategy. Our international support solutions and bespoke package of trade, currency and invoice finance facilities will help Clearspring expand into existing and new global markets. The business has a fantastic ethos of delivering ethical and organic products and we look forward to working together to deliver sustainable growth globally.
