Clear growth ambitions for Clayton Glass strengthened

Clayton Glass
Founded in 1956, Clayton Glass is one of the UK’s largest and oldest glass manufacturers. Operating across four separate sites, they employ over 400 people and deliver nationwide. Named amongst the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ by the London Stock Exchange, they also currently hold the IGU Manufacturer of the Year award.
Santander supported Clayton Glass’ acquisition of Global Glass, along with two of their manufacturing facilities in Nottinghamshire and Blackburn, with £2m of working capital.
We need a bank that is able and willing to evolve and grow with us. Santander has done just that. Santander has supported our recent acquisition of Global Glass with swift, decisive credit approval. Their approach has been first class, customer-focused and commercially-minded.

Managing Director, Clayton Glass
The loan facility will provide Clayton Glass with the working capital capability to take advantage of its expanded customer base and growth ambitions.
Clayton Glass has achieved organic growth through the success of their manufacturing and customer services. The acquisition of Global Glass further strengthens its service offering and will reduce lead times even further. We're delighted to support the next stage in Clayton’s growth and the opportunities this will bring.
